May 19, 2014, Week 45‏

la obra misional
Well this week was just kinda there nothing too exciting happened.  But that is ok, because if those types of weeks didn't happen then there would never would be good weeks!  Yeah sorry for not writing last week I honestly didn't know what to say and I was able to organize all of my mission stuff on my hard drive!  (We did enjoy a three hour skype call with Elder Fin on Mother's Day!!!!! not surprised he didn't know what to say, that was the most we have ever heard him share.and every word was wonderful!)

Well i guess the first thing that i can talk about is how one of our investigators completely bailed on us for church yesterday(--which happens every week--)  But this one is special haha.  So the Fishburns picked us up and then we went to go pick up our investigator who said that he wanted to go to church!  We ended up driving in front of his house because his driveway was too steep for the Fishburns car.  He was out on the front porch with his friend smoking... that is ok so we went to the alley behind his house and went to go knock his door... well his friend answered and said that he was at work.....we were in that position when we were wondering if we should just call him out that he is lying... but we were able to restrain.  As we looked back at it we thought that was very smart,  if we would have attacked we probably would of lost an investigator.

Also another annoying thing is that we don't have ward council until June! The last one that we had was in April!  We also got kicked out of the meeting so now we only go once a month and we can only take 5 minutes on our area at the beginning then we are kicked out for the rest of it!  I need to remember if I ever serve as a bishop TO KEEP THE MISSIONARIES in the meeting unless I want to exclude the people that visit every Less active, recent convert and active member every week!  o well...

Well on a better note I was able to see Elder Pugmire maybe for the last time (he dies this transfer) at our stake fair that we had!  he hasn't gained a pound haha (I haven't had a companion over 140 pounds..)  But it was good to see him! I invited him to Bethany's wedding haha he said that he is going to go!  But the stake fair went really well but I now know that missionary work is about 100Xs better than being a carnival worker! haha I did enjoy all of the funnel cake and corn dogs!!  They took down the photo booth so we had to take pictures at the johns.  The one with the sisters are the missionaries in the Noble ward the other one is Elder Cluff and Elder Pugmire!

But yeah that is a chunk what happened this week!  I will have to share our drunk friend story next week!
y'all have a good week
